Finally club football has returned and to celebrate I’ve put together a stonking accumulator for the weekend. Featuring picks from all around the country, here’s out selection for Saturday’s fixtures.

Football Accumulator Tips:

  • Sunderland to beat Stoke @ 7/4
  • Middlesbrough to beat Birmingham @ 7/10
  • Oxford United to beat Blackpool @ 8/11
  • Bolton Wanderers to beat Northampton @ 8/11
  • Stockport County to beat Grimsby @ 1/2
  • Wrexham to beat Bradford @ 7/5

Sixfold pays 50/1

Sunderland to beat Stoke @ 7/4

Stoke are all out of sorts at the minute and it feels like it is only a matter of time before Alex Neil leaves his current post. The Potters have lost their last two without scoring and currently sit 21st in the Championship after a summer of impressive recruitment. Meanwhile, Sunderland look as though they will challenge the top six again, even though they were well beaten by Middlesbrough before the break.

Middlesbrough to beat Birmingham @ 7/10

A resurgent Boro host Wayne Rooney’s Birmingham City on Saturday, but this isn’t a managerial change that comes with the new manager bounce. The players were happy with John Eustace in charge, and there’s no guarantees that this change will work out

Oxford United to beat Blackpool @ 8/11

Oxford have now won their last five games in a row and are looking more and more like genuine title challengers this time. Liam Manning has them playing some superb football and they are now up to second in League One. Meanwhile Blackpool are a decent outfit but may come up short here.

Bolton Wanderers to beat Northampton @ 8/11

Bolton suffered a damaging 3-1 defeat at home to Carlisle last time out, but there’s no doubt that Ian Evatt’s team are one of the best in the division. Northampton were massively disappointing in their 1-0 defeat to Shrewsbury Town. They are likely to find life difficult in this away trip.

Stockport County to beat Grimsby @ 1/2

Stockport are the best team in League Two right now and even at this short price, they are worth backing. The Hatters have now won eight games on the bounce in all competitions while Grimsby were beaten by Accrington in their last outing. Easy home win.

Wrexham to beat Bradford @ 7/5

Wrexham are also starting to motor in League Two. After another win they are now up to 5th in the table and boast one of the strongest squads. They’ve now won three on the bounce and are unbeaten in their last three away matches. Bradford have also found form with three wins on the bounce, but I just feel Wrexham will be too strong for them.
