Barcelona are in La Liga action on Saturday night as they host Real Betis as they look to continue their unbeaten start to the season. We take a look at some of the most enticing markets in this contest.

Barcelona vs Real Betis Betting Tips

  • Barcelona and both teams to score (Yes) – 9/5
  • Ferran Torres to score anytime – 15/8

Team news

Barcelona boss Xavi is going to be without midfielder Pedri, defender Ronald Araujo for Saturday, with both players sidelined through injury. Ilkay Gundogan is a doubt for the game but it is hoped that he should be fit and available.

Real Betis midfielder Nabil Fekir has been sidelined since February with an anterior cruciate ligament injury and it looks like he will remain out of action for his side’s trip to face Barca.

Barcelona and both teams to score (Yes) at 9/5

The hosts will be gunning for a fourth straight victory when Real Betis come to town as they look to keep the pressure on reigning champions and rivals Real Madrid, who currently sit top of the table, two points ahead of Barca.

Last season’s top scorer Robert Lewandowski has provided two goals for his team already this term and will be hoping to add to his tally on home soil this weekend. The Poland international scored two goals against Manuel Pellegrini’s side last year so they will need to be watchful of him when they lock horns.

Betis have picked up a respectable seven points so far in La Liga but in one of their two defeats so far, they have been able to get on the scoresheet. In Barcelona’s last two wins, they have failed to keep a clean sheet, so there is a sense of vulnerability in defence that the visitors can exploit.

Ferran Torres to score anytime at 15/8

Like Lewandowski, winger Ferran Torres has been among the goals for his side in the opening weeks of the campaign. The Spaniard has also scored twice already in La Liga and has been a bright spark in his team’s strong start to proceedings, something which he’ll hope can continue against Real Betis.

Since returning to Spain from Manchester City 18 months ago, it hasn’t been plain sailing for Torres but he is becoming more assured of himself for La Blaugrana and is evolving into a key figure in Xavi’s team. His intricate dribbling can cause problems for most defenders in the division and he has already shown he has an eye for goal. We feel like this is the perfect game for him to add to his tally.
