F1 Outright Odds: Lando Norris odds-on to win first crown

This weekend felt pretty seismic for Lando Norris and his hopes of winning his very first world championship. He took the race win and also won the Sprint in Sao Paulo as his one point lead over teammate Oscar Piastri became a 24-point advantage.
He’s now the heavy favourite to win the Drivers’ Championship and below you can find the latest Lando Norris F1 Odds.

After that magical display in South America, it’s perhaps no surprise that the bookmakers have gone big on Lando to win the world championship. His perfect weekend took him to 390 points in total, with his teammate Oscar Piastri now further back on 366.
24 points. With three races to go. With 25 points for a win and 83 points in total to race for, you can see the sizeable advantage that Norris has. In fact, the Brit may not even have to win another race to secure the title, with four second place finishes (three Grand Prix and one Sprint) taking him to 451 points - two more than the 449 maximum Piastri can achieve with four wins.
Max Verstappen is lingering slightly further back on 49 points and although you can never fully rule him out, that does seem like a big ask. The one thing Lando truly needs to avoid is any mechanical issues, crashes, or DNFs. If he can continue to finish in those high points positions, he should be okay and as I’ve just stated, it will be very hard for his teammate to overhaul him.

Norris was delighted following the win in Brazil but also showed a clear focus for the final three races: “It’s a great win, but to be honest, seeing how quick Max was today I’m pretty disappointed that we weren’t quicker. That’s where my mind’s at at the minute. I’m probably going to see the team, congratulate them and see where we weren’t quick enough.
“That’s me, we’ll see what we can do. It’s not a long way to go but I’m just focused on myself – keep my head down, ignore everyone and keep pushing. The team are doing an amazing job giving me a great car. We’re pushing hard every single weekend and I’m pushing hard away from the track. It’s rewarding. It doesn’t come easy, that’s for sure. To be honest, I don’t think we were the quickest out there on track today but I’m glad to take home the win.”
That focus and the gap he has with just three races to go means that he is rightfully the odds-on favourite to lift the world championship after making serious improvement in the last two years with McLaren. He was second behind Verstappen last season, and he has now surpassed the total of 374 he scored last season, but anything less than the world title now would feel like a disappointment.
