Three long weeks since Lando Norris took the chequered flag in Hungary, Formula One returns after its summer break. We’ve had the news that experienced duo Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas will be driving for the new Cadillac team in 2026, while the McLaren duo are set to resume their title challenge.

It’s all to play for as we head to Circuit Zandvoort, and below you can find my Dutch Grand Prix 2025 predictions.

Dutch Grand Prix 2025 Predictions

  • Lando Norris to win @ 6/4
  • Gabriel Bortoleto points finish @ 2/1

Odds correct at the time of publication

Lando Norris to win @ 6/4

Max Verstappen would be the most popular winner as we head to the Dutch Grand Prix once again, but he didn’t take the chequered flag in 2024 as Norris took the win by a gargantuan margin of 22 seconds.

Norris was actually on pole this time last year, but lost his lead at the start of the race with his traditional poor getaway. However, the Brit quickly cruised past Max down the home straight and didn’t look back, extending his lead drastically before the chequered flag. He clearly likes this track, having qualified in second in 2023 and it’s clear that even after the summer break, the McLarens should be top dogs again.

I’m hoping for progress from the other teams, especially Ferrari, to make the second half of the season slightly more intriguing, but the title battle between Oscar Piastri and Norris is fascinating. There are now just nine points between them ahead of this weekend, and it is set to go all the way to the wire.

I will back Norris to win as my first selection, given he has a decent record at this place and is coming off the back of a good win at the Hungaroring.

Gabriel Bortoleto points finish @ 2/1

Something slightly different for my second pick. I always look to try and find some value over a race weekend and the points finish market rarely offers that. For example, all of the big contenders are a minuscule price to secure a top-10 finish, with even the likes of Kimi Antonelli up at 3/10.

That’s not worth the risk at all given the fact that a crash or a mechanical error could prevent us getting a winner - but I am intruiged by the names further down the list. I was a big backer of Isack Hadjar and Alex Albon earlier in the season but their prices have also come in, with Hadjar in particular unable to deliver in the last three weeks.

Instead I’m looking at Gabriel Bortoleto of Kick Saubar, a team that showed obvious improvement before the summer break. Bortoleto struggled over the first 10 races, with his best finish being 12th in that time, but in the last four outings he has really stepped up a level.

The car has clearly improved but so has the Brazilian, as he has secured three top-10 finishes and one DNF in his last four, with a sixth-place finish in Hungary the best result of his career. Remember, he is still only 20 and in his first season in F1, so we can expect him to improve as the season progresses. Given the line of progress we have tracked so far, I think Bortoleto is the best value on the grid to secure another points finish.
