Premier League Darts Cardiff Betting Tips

  • Rob Cross -2.5 legs vs Peter Wright @ 11/10
  • Over 110.5 checkout in Humphries vs Littler @ 8/13

2.5pts Double @ 9/4 11/4

Draw

Peter Wright v Rob Cross

Gerwyn Price v Nathan Aspinall

Michael van Gerwen v Michael Smith

Luke Littler v Luke Humphries

Rob Cross -2.5 legs vs Peter Wright @ 11/10

Cross has generally had the beating of Wright in recent years - winning 6 of their last 7 meetings. Their form is going in different directions and you can see this in their 3-month rolling averages - Cross is 5th on the list at 98.61, whereas Wright is way down at 95th on the list with 89.53, so Cross is averaging over 9 points more than Wright the past 3 months, a pretty big gulf at this level.

I previously touched on it in my tournament preview that 'Snakebite' is shy of confidence just now, if he doesn’t get off to a good start tonight then a heavy defeat could be on the cards. 'Voltage' will be keen to get off to a good start in his first Premier League campaign since 2021.

Over 110.5 checkout in Humphries vs Littler @ 8/13

We got another taster of the potential rivalry that could be brewing between Littler and Humphries last week in Den Bosch, as Littler ran out 6-5 winner in another good battle at the Dutch Darts Masters. It’s clear to see already that the fast flowing tempo these two play at will generally bring out the best in each other and most of their meetings will be of a high level.

This is why I feel big checkouts could certainly be on the cards in this one - Littler in particular has been checking out ton plus finishes for fun, he’s took out at least one 100+ checkout in 12 of his last 13 matches, Humphries has also achieved this in 7 of his last 8 matches.

In their World final, both took out 170 checkouts. 8/13 is more than a fair price for a 111+ checkout given there should be around 10 legs played.
