Premier League Darts 2025 Newcastle Predictions: Nuke to keep up red-hot streak

The Premier League has reached night eight and our darts expert Sean Rafferty has given us his picks for the North East. So, without further ado, here are his Premier League Darts 2025 Newcastle predictions.
Premier League Darts Newcastle Tips
- 2.5 units Night 8 winner - Luke Littler @ 6/5
2.5 units Boosted Double @ EVS 5/4
2.5 units Night 8 winner - Luke Littler @ 6/5
Littler continued his dominance when he stormed his way to the title on Night Seven of Premier League action, seeing his lead extend to six points at the top of the table, with his spot in Finals Night a formality now.
He decided to take the week off in the lead up to Night Seven, missing the Pro Tour action in Hildesheim. It proved to be a wise decision as he romped to victory in Cardiff - recording averages of 102, 108 and 112.
He’s done the same this week, deciding to skip the European Darts Trophy in Germany last weekend and instead opting to focus on Premier League action. This means he’ll come in completely fresh again and likely to play near his best.
He faces Bunting first, who is yet to record a single win in what has been a torrid Premier League campaign so far for the Bullet. Littler will be confident of a win in that one which would see him face the winner of Price vs Cross. He’d perhaps prefer to avoid Price given his recent record against The Iceman, but will still be confident of a win against anyone in his current form.
With main rival Humphries playing below par just now, I’m struggling to see past another nightly win for The Nuke.

Over 5.5 180s in Littler vs Bunting @ 3/10
As I say, it’s been a rather unpleasant experience in the Premier League this year for Bunting so far, registering no points from seven nights of action so far. It can see the confidence disappear from a player and Stephen has admitted himself he’s became guilty of trying too hard to get that first win.
Sadly there’s no real value in backing Littler wins these days, 1/6 doesn’t exactly get the juices flowing. The value where The Nuke is involved still remains in the 180s market - we had joy backing him to hit most against Aspinall last week, but this time I’m going for both players to contribute to the maximums count.
It tends to rain with 180s when these two meet - their only previous match in the Premier League this year saw an incredible sixteen 180s hit in just nine legs played. They also played in the Dutch Darts Masters in January, with a combined twelve 180s in thirteen legs played. A 180 per leg ratio is clearly achievable for these two so over 5.5 180s looks a certainty at 3/10.
Chris Dobey +2.5 legs handicap @ 8/11
It’s a big night for Dobey, as he’ll grace the stage in Newcastle in front of the home crowd, which is bound to be a noisy one given Newcastle United’s recent cup success at Wembley.
Hollywood will look to take inspiration from his football team and cause an upset of his own against Humphries. It looks like a decent opportunity to do so, with Cool Hand not looking his brilliant best in recent weeks.
It’s now been three straight opening round defeats for Luke in the Premier League, seeing Littler coast in front of him in the table and the chasing pack edge a little closer to him. Dobey on the other hand will have taken some comfort from finally recording some more points last week in Cardiff, his first since the opening night.
Dobey has tended to run Humphries pretty close recently - Hollywood has won four or more legs in four of his last five meetings against Humphries in the exact same format as this. Therefore with home advantage taken into consideration too, 8/11 looks a great price for Dobey to win 4+ legs and run the World number one very close.
