Nathan Aspinall to win Night 10 @ 12/1

After a depleted 2024 for Aspinall due to being plagued with injuries, he couldn’t have really have hoped for much of a better start to 2025. Having never won a Euro Tour previously, Nathan’s now made back-to-back finals in Europe, winning one of them.

The performances are starting to become more consistent and for the better - The Asp has averaged 100+ in seven of his last 16 matches, winning 11 of those.

One of the main factors in making my decision to back Aspinall this week is due to the half of the draw he’s in. For starters, Littler is in the opposite side which is a boost and he’s up against Price who he’s struggled against recently, so could be vulnerable.

Secondly, Van Gerwen and Cross who are both in Nathan’s half of the draw, have questions to answer over their fitness, having both pulled out of events in the past week, Van Gerwen with a shoulder injury and Cross through illness.

Even if they do turn up and play they may not be 100 percent so Aspinall only has to contend with they two and Dobey who’s generally struggled in the Premier League so far. I make him favourite to do so and make the final, at 12/1 he’s worth a shot against anybody in the final. This could well turn out to be a gem of a price.

Gerwyn Price +3.5 legs handicap vs Littler @ 1/3

This was a fairly obvious pick, given the recent success Price has had against Littler. The Iceman boasts such a strong record against Luke which has only improved this year - Gezzy has now won his last six matches against The Nuke, taking the overall head-to-head tally to 7-4 in favour of the Welshman.

Four of the last six victories have been by two or more legs also, showing he can get the job done comfortably.

The form is good enough to suggest that Price again can give Littler a good run for his money - in the past month, Price has had averages above 101 on thirteen occasions, he may need to find something in that region to win this one but has proved he can.

He’s won three or more legs in all eleven of his meetings against Littler, so 1/3 is more than a fair price to achieve that again. He could do with points on the board to fend off the challengers for fourth place in the table so it’s an all important game for The Iceman.

Stephen Bunting over 2.5 180s vs Luke Humphries @ 8/13

What a crazy week it’s been for Bunting, if you’d told him a week ago that he’d win a Premier League night and win his first ever Euro Tour in the space of a few days, I’m not sure even Stephen himself would have believed you.

It’s generally been a slog for The Bullet so far as week after week he’s walked into quality performances and went zero wins from eight matches despite a tournament average of over 97.

You have to feel it was becoming a bit of a chore turning out every week with very little confidence of picking up a win and the pressure mounting on him by the week. That win against Aspinall took a massive weight off his shoulders and he’s kicked on wonderfully since.

Even with the lack of results going his way, registering 180s was never an issue and he’s continued to do so in this upturn of form - The Bullet has hit 3+ 180s in all of his last 12 matches, 10 of which were first to six legs, the same as this match.

He’s always been a good scorer so I’m surprised we’re getting as big as 8/13 for Bunting to hit a trio of maximums to complete this double.
