Premier League Darts 2026 Odds

Josh Rock to hit under 3.5 180s vs Jonny Clayton @ 4/5

Rocky is one of two players making their Premier League debut this week, alongside Van Veen. Josh has been touted for a Premier League spot for some time now, as he seems to fit the PDC’s “profile” very well in terms of what they’re looking for. I certainly think he’ll fit in nicely to the league and be very competitive.

First-up for him is a tricky match against Jonny Clayton, one that could prove to be pretty important in the long run in the race for a top four spot in the league table. Rock has had a pretty good time of it against Clayton in recent years, winning four of his last five meetings against the Welshman. He does lack the experience Clayton has in the Premier League though - Jonny has made three Premier League appearances previously, reaching Finals Night on each occasion, so clearly has a liking for the tournament and has made no secret about it being his favourite event on the calendar.

I’m opting to focus on the 180s market, a stat I feel Rocky has eased up in slightly in recent months. He’s widely regarded as one of the biggest 180 hitters on tour, but hasn’t been quite as prolific on them the past couple months. He’s only averaging 0.32 180s per leg over the last three months, compared to 0.39 over the past year. If he continues at this rate, bearing in mind there could be a few nerves on his side with it being his Premier League debut, he’d need around nine or ten legs to hit three maximums, to hit four seems like a big ask and the 4/5 on under 3.5 looks a solid selection.

Gian Van Veen highest checkout over 90.5 vs Luke Littler @ EVS

This will already be the second time these two have played each-other since their World Championship final on the 3rd of January. Littler has had Gian’s number in the last few, with dominant wins at the World Championship and World Grand Prix, as well as a victory in Saudi Arabia a couple weeks ago. The back-to-back World Champion clearly sees Gian as a big threat, as he continuously raises his game against the Dutchman - 112, 106 and 106 are Littler’s averages in their last three meetings.

The pair enjoyed successful weekends at the recent Winmau World Masters, more so Littler as he went on to lift yet another major title. Van Veen will be relatively happy with his tournament I think, sadly he was well beaten by Luke Humphries in the semi-finals, walking into a huge performance from the World number two. But Gian did enjoy victories over Joyce, Aspinall and Wade to reach that stage.

The Giant makes his Premier League debut this week and it’s one he fully deserves, it’s been a pretty rapid rise in his performances over the past few years and he’s already proved himself in major tournaments, reaching the World Championship final was just the icing on the cake in terms of his inclusion in this year’s Premier League line-up.

One of Van Veen’s main strengths are his doubles, he’s statistically the best in the world on them. He’s no stranger to hitting combination checkouts and even against Littler, it doesn’t seem to be an issue.

Gian has hit a 100+ checkout in five of his last seven matches against Luke, albeit a couple of them were over a longer format. GVV has also hit a 91+ checkout in 25 of his last 30 matches and even against the best player in the world, I expect him to land at least one combination finish at even money, which completes our double nicely.
