Premier League Darts 2026 Odds
Gerwyn Price +1.5 legs handicap vs Luke Humphries @ 8/13
Price perhaps has been guilty over the last couple of years of playing in too many events if anything - the Welshman certainly likes to keep on the move, when he isn’t playing a PDC event, he’s often playing in exhibitions, as well as keeping busy away from the oche. However, he had made a few comments on social media about the constant travelling getting a bit much and as a result, he opted to sit out of the European Tour in Belgium, as well as the first Pro Tour event in Leicester this week.
Price should come here feeling refreshed after a relatively quiet period by his standards, he played well in Berlin last week and he’ll be hoping to take that into Manchester this week as he aims to settle into the top four, he currently sits third in the table with 14 points, three points ahead of Humphries in fifth, so this match has plenty riding on it.
Price dismantled Humphries 6-1 in the semi finals two weeks ago and has won five or more legs in all of the last seven meetings these two have had in best of 11 leg matches. The Iceman will be confident of taking this all the way, if not winning to pull even further away from dropping outside of the top four in the league.
Luke Littler -1.5 legs handicap vs Gian Van Veen @ 4/9
He took his time, but as we head into the second half of the league campaign, Littler has certainly found his feet now - The Nuke has won three of the last four nights in the Premier League, which now sees him sit top of the table, leapfrogging Jonny Clayton last week.
There’s some added incentive for the World Champion this week, with him playing in Manchester which is classed as his home night. He won in Manchester with his first attempt in 2024, whilst he fell short in the semis last year.
This week, the teenage sensation faces fellow young gun Gian Van Veen, who’s sadly suffered with kidney stones and since receiving treatment for it has suffered with a lack of energy and tiredness. He battled on bravely last week against Price but ultimately was outclassed in a 6-1 defeat, some very stray, low darts suggested he was struggling to reach his targets due to some fatigue.
It’s very much guess work as to whether he’ll be fully recovered this week but he did sit out of the Pro Tour events in Leicester. Regardless of whether he’s 100% fit, Van Veen has found Littler to be a thorn in his side in recent months - Luke has won four of their last five meetings, all of those victories being on the comfortable side.
It would be easy to go even more ambitious with the handicaps but -1.5 looks a safe and sensible approach to take with Littler here as he looks to get off to a flyer in-front of the Mancunian crowd.
