Premier League Darts 2026 Odds

Gerwyn Price to beat Gian Van Veen @ 8/13

It was a big jump back to form for Gezzy last weekend - The Iceman lifted his tenth European Tour title in his career as he won the European Darts Grand Prix. He’s recently had a slight issue with a back injury which forced him to withdraw from a couple exhibitions and Pro Tour events. He also played below-par in the previous couple Premier League nights, losing comfortably to Rock and Littler.

He looked back to himself on the European Tour though - the Welshman averaged 99+ in his first four matches, then 61% on the doubles saw him get over the line against Ross Smith in the final.

With Humphries facing a tricky match against Littler, victory in this match for Price could see him sit at least eight points clear of 5th place as he’ll gain further ground on the two closest chasers outside the top four in the table, Van Veen and Humphries. His record against Van Veen will fill him with plenty optimism - Gezzy has won 11 of his previous 13 meetings against GVV, which includes 6-1 and 6-2 victories over the Dutchman in the past month. The form of Gian, or the lack of it I should say, is another reason why Price looks a good bet to come out on top here at 8/13.

Josh Rock highest checkout over 90.5 vs Michael Van Gerwen @ 4/5

It’s been a tough old slog for Rock in this year’s Premier League, but even if he is running out of time to make a late dart for the top four, he can take some consolation from the fact he’s finally starting to get some wins on the board. Having gone winless across the opening seven nights in the Premier League, Josh has now won his opening match in all of the last four nights. Unfortunately, he hasn’t been able to reach the final in any of those nights, which still leaves him bottom of the table.

I was very close to backing Rocky to win and do think it’s a tempting bet, MVG hasn’t really produced his best in recent weeks - the Green Machine was nowhere near his best in Munich last weekend, despite making the quarter finals stage. He averaged 91, 89 and 83 in his matches, leaving a lot to be desired.

In the end, I opted for Rock to have a highest checkout of over 90.5 again. This selection came good for us last week when he faced Bunting, popping a 98 checkout in two darts in the opening leg, backing that up with a 106 checkout too. He’s now had a 106+ in 12 of his last 16 matches and with Van Gerwen’s current form, I’d expect Rocky to have multiple opportunities to land a decent checkout.
