Premier League Darts 2026 Odds
Gian van Veen highest checkout over 100.5 vs Jonny Clayton @ 10/11
You’d have to say Gian has done everything bar win a night so far - the Dutchman has took to the Premier League like a duck to water. A very impressive start on his debut campaign in the Premier League has seen him make three weekly finals in the opening four nights, which sees him sit second in the league table. Nevertheless, if he continues to win so many matches then he’ll comfortably reach Finals Night in London in a few months time.
Once again, Gian will have to try and block out the crowd who will be against him, due to facing home favourite Jonny Clayton. It’s very similar to the circumstances he played in last week, when he was up against a boisterous crowd in Belfast when he faced Josh Rock. Van Veen dealt with that one like a seasoned veteran, as he cantered his way to a comfortable 6-2 victory over Rocky, despite being on the receiving end of a memorable 9-darter.
GVV had checkouts of 167, 113 and 109 in that win over Rock, a trait that consistently proves the difference between him winning and losing matches against high-quality opponents. He’s no stranger to a clutch finish or two, hitting a highest checkout of 122 or more in six of his last seven matches, all over a similar length of format as the Premier League matches. He may need one or two big finishes to pull him through against a fired-up Ferret, 10/11 looks a brilliant price to do so.
Luke Littler to hit most 180s vs Josh Rock @ 1/2
The frustrations continue for Littler as far as the Premier League is concerned - the youngster has won just one match across the opening four nights, despite being a massive favourite to top the table at the end of the league phase pre-tournament. Fortunately for Luke, he has plenty time on his side, with a further twelve nights of action still to come to put things right.
The Nuke will be glad to come up against someone who he currently enjoys a 100% record against in Josh Rock - Littler has won all five of their previous meetings, with the most recent two being very one-sided (6-1 in legs and 4-0 in sets, both this year). On top of that, Rock is suffering from a lack of form, particularly in the Premier League - he’s yet to win a match in the opening four nights, failing to take more than two legs off anyone so far. A sensational 9-darter somewhat papered over the cracks last week, but on the whole it was another well below-par performance for the Northern Irishman.
Littler has managed to hit most 180s in three of those five victories against Rock. He also has a much better rate of 180 hitting in recent months - since the start of December, Littler is averaging 0.48 180s per leg, compared to only 0.30 per leg for Josh. On paper, it should be a comfortable win for the World Champ in the match and on the 180s count, which looked the better value of the two at 1/2.
