Premier League Darts 2026 Odds
Jonny Clayton to win vs Josh Rock @ 8/15
This was by far one of the easiest selections I’ve made in this year’s Premier League - First plays eighth, Clayton has accumulated 19 points so far, compared to Rock’s zero. These two faced off in the opening match of this Premier League campaign, Jonny won that one 6-2 and he hasn’t looked back since. Rock on the other hand… the Northern Irishman can’t seem to settle in the league and it appears to be becoming some sort of mental block when he comes into these nights.
We’ve seen many good players in the past suffer similarly tough campaigns in the Premier League and with every week that passes without getting points on the board, the harder it becomes to get that first victory. He’s produced some decent performances in other tournaments which suggests it’s the pressure of the situation that’s getting to him.
The confidence is shot and Clayton comes in on the back of an impressive weekend at the Belgian Darts Open - The Ferret reached the final where he was just outclassed by Luke Humphries in a 8-6 defeat. The Welshman should come into this free of any nerves with him being in such a good position in the league, that should show and I’m expecting a comfortable win for Clayton and the agony to continue for Rocky.
Over 4.5 total 180s in Luke Humphries vs Michael Van Gerwen @ 1/3
This is a quick rematch for these two, MVG will be looking to avenge a 7-2 defeat he suffered at the hands of Humphries in the semi-finals of the Belgian Darts Open last weekend. It’s shaping up to be the most crucial match of the night - Humphries is sitting on 11 points in fourth, with Van Gerwen on his coattails in fifth with 10 points. With Van Veen looking likely to withdraw from Night 8 through illness, it’s a good chance for one of these two to pull well clear of sixth place and put themselves in good shape inside the top four.
180s looks like the most sensible route to go down with this match, as both are playing to a pretty good standard recently. Six of the last seven meetings between the pair have had over 4.5 180s and I’d expect this to be a match with plenty of legs, which increases the chances for maximums to be hit. They’re averaging a combined 0.67 180s per leg over the last year, meaning they should only need eight legs to hit five 180s between them. Looks a near certainty and rounds up the double to back-able odds of 11/10.
