This fascinating domestic clash takes place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on the undercard of Tyson Fury vs Arslanbek Makhmudov. The event also features Conor Benn’s return to the stadium where he beat Chris Eubank Jr and Frazer Clarke’s shot at redemption opposite Justis Huni.

Tshikeva vs Riakporhe Odds

TKV is priced at 11/5 to pick up a huge victory in his home of Tottenham. Riakporhe looks well-set at 2/5 while the draw is 14/1.

Tshikeva vs Riakporhe Fight Preview

This match-up offers a huge opportunity to each man. The epitome of a fine British heavyweight championship match-up.

For TKV, it is a chance for the new champion to put his name on the map against a former WBO cruiserweight title challenger. There is a lot of noise surrounding Riakporhe and his prospects in the land of the big men. If Jeamie can cut his opponent’s dreams short, it will be another notch on his belt coming off the back of his career-best win.

The attraction for Riakporhe is lifting a first legitimate championship as a heavyweight. A mile-marker on a heavyweight road Richard hopes will land him a world championship opportunity one day soon.

Both men have been pleasantly active recently, having each last boxed in November. TKV upset Frazer Clarke to claim the vacant British belt in a real thriller in Derby. Riakporhe pounded the resistance out of 16-0 Tommy Welch at this very stadium on the Benn vs Eubank II undercard. That victory was Riakporhe’s second of 2025 while TKV boxed thrice last year.

The broad view of this fight is that, while it is a big-fight destination for TKV, it is perceived as merely part of the journey for Riakporhe. Tshikeva was the underdog against Clarke and most thought main eventing a BBC card would be the end of the road for the 32-year-old at the top level. Fighting Riakporhe, a big name Brit with miles left to run even at 36, is seen as the sort of marquee fight TKV has been targeting.

Riakporhe, meanwhile, is aiming for the very summit of the heavyweight division. After coming up short in a WBO cruiserweight title challenge to Chris Billam-Smith, ‘Midnight Train’ moved up to heavyweight to seek the biggest scalps. Picking up a British title in a second weight division is a stop on the road to glitzier prizes.

Richard Riakporhe

This is not a wholly fair way of looking at things. After all, TKV has as much ambition to progress beyond this fight as his opponent. He is four years younger and has just dismantled an Olympic bronze medalist to claim a prestigious strap. It is fair to say that TKV will not be approaching a huge fight in his Tottenham backyard feeling like cannon fodder.

You would forgive any Riakporhe for feeling that way after the way he decimated Welch here in November. His second heavyweight victim was no world beater but these outdoor shows are all about the statements you make. Riakporhe could not have done more on the night to impress.

This is a different challenge altogether. TKV has beaten Clarke and gave David Adeleye absolute fits before a poor referee’s call led to him getting stopped a year ago. That speaks to a boxer who does not worry about reputations. For the first time as a heavyweight, Riakporhe faces a foe who is utterly convinced they can beat him.

Tshikeva vs Riakporhe Prediction

TKV specialises in using his burly stature and unorthodox style to make life difficult for his opposition. An underrated out-boxer, I think his best bet is to use his fine grasp of timing to make himself a nuisance as the classically-skilled Riakporhe tries to set himself behind that long jab.

The Welch KO was a perfect summation of what happens when you throw at Riakporhe without thinking. The hapless victim was brave in the extreme but unable to do anything about the crunching shots that eroded him into dust.

I reckon TKV will be too canny for such a swift finish. I think he’ll make it horrible for Riakporhe in there. I think ‘Midnight Train’ will reach his destination, eventually defeating the champion at 2/5. But I reckon Riakporhe might have a bloody nose in the post-fight photographs, let’s put it that way.
