Fran is priced at 1/8 in this one. Those convinced by Bytyqi’s record as an ex-champ might like the look of her 6/1 price. The draw is up at 12/1. Betfred are running some Price Boosts for the fight, including the Fran KO moving from 6/1 to 13/2.
Hennessy vs Bytyqi Fight Preview
BOXXER know a thing or two about steering female talent to world titles. Lauren Price is the unified welterweight champion while Natasha Jonas racked up world titles at multiple weights with the group. Hennessy is being moved at a similar clip as she takes a big step up on Saturday.
The 21-year-old is known for her roof-raising ring entrances and a precocious in-ring style that led promoter Ben Shalom to liken her to Prince Naseem Hamed when I interviewed him on Friday. A young professional, Hennessy has done the majority of her learning in the paid ranks.
So far she’s on course for that fistic doctorate, going 6-0 since leaving a brief amateur career behind in 2023. The daughter of Mick Hennessy, a legendary promoter who has handled the likes of Tyson Fury, the business side is well taken care of by her father-manager. Now the precocious kid from Kent is ready for her close-up.
Standing in front of Fran for her BBC debut is Bytyqi, the 22-2-2 Czech with a wealth of experience. Still only 29, the visitor was the reigning WBC atomweight champion as recently as January 2024. This bout is up at bantamweight, which could prove the difference-maker.

It has been rough going for Bytyqi since losing her WBC crown to Tina Rupprecht in Germany last year. A pair of six-round wins over journeywomen gave way to a points defeat over 10-twos to Seren Cetin. But given the fact her conqueror is a former world title challenger, that loss did not hugely tarnish Bytyqi’s ledger.
Still hungry and still mixing at a high level, Bytyqi feels like the perfect test for Hennessy at this stage of her development. She has aced the learning fights. Now her BBC debut serves up an opponent who knows what it takes to succeed at the highest level. Class is in session.

Hennessy vs Bytyqi Prediction
If Betfred had a market for ‘best ring walk’, I think Fran would be a prohibitive favourite. As it is, the 21-year-old is already head-and-shoulders above Bytyqi in the markets. Making the Czech star compete with Hennessy’s dance moves feels a tad unfair given the prospect’s propensity to cut a rug.
But on the only stage that matters, the squared circle, I still feel like Hennessy has what it takes. I see a Hennessy points win at 1/4. Strictly business from the dancing destroyer.
