The biggest name in boxing steps back into the ring on Saturday evening live on TNT Sports Box Office.

Our Boxing traders here at Betfred think that Tyson Fury is going to cruise to victory against ex-UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou but what are the odds? We review all the key markets for the big fight…

Fight Winner Odds:

When I said in the introduction that our traders think that Fury will cruise to victory, I wasn’t joking. We have odds of 1/14 that come the end of the bout, it will be the Gypsy King whose arm is held aloft by the referee in the middle of the ring.

We give Ngannou a puncher’s chance of pulling off the upset, which would certainly scupper plans for a December unification fight against Oleksandr Usyk. The traders here have him priced up at 8/1 to win the bout with the draw considered quite the longshot at 40/1.

Method of Victory Odds:

Fury to win by KO/TKO/DQ or Technical Decision is unsurprisingly the overwhelming favourite in the market. Most people think Fury will be able to completely outclass his rookie opponent and we make him just 1/6 to win the fight early.

Our own Adam Roberts however in his Fury vs Ngannou Predictions article has looked for some value deeper in the market and fancies the 35-year-old Mancunian to win the fight but only on points. That is a very interesting 5/1 and will certainly get some support from punters.

A Francis Ngannou win by KO/TKO/DQ or Technical Decision is a 12/1 shot and that is the one to back if you think that this has Buster Douglas vibes. The 50/1 price for the ex-UFC man to win the bout on points reflects that this is very much considered the least likely method of victory.

Round Betting Odds:

If you think the fight will end early then you can of course bet on what Round ends up being the last. Fury to win in Rounds 5 & 6 is the shortest price in this market, coming in at 13/2. A swift finish and a Fury win inside three minutes can be backed at 12/1.

Francis Ngannou’s best chance of a knockout win is in the first according to the odds as we make him a 33/1 shot to finish the fight early doors. As the bout goes on, his chances diminish with Rounds 6 through 10 all priced up at 100/1.

#PickYourPunt Bet Requests

We’ve received plenty of interest from customers to price up their thoughts on the fight and you can find a bunch of them on the market page.

A few of my favourites are Over 1.5 Knockdowns in the fight, which is available at Evens. Fury to be knocked down at 4/1. Anyone can be surprised by a punch – certainly at the heavyweight level.

If you think it goes to points as our boxing tipster does, then you can add a bit more value by taking Fury to win by a unanimous decision at 13/2.
