Saturday Greyhounds Tips: Three more from Monmore

1pt 19:54 Monmore - Scooby Mustang (T4) @ SP

Three from Monmore this evening on a competitive mixed card. At 19:54 in the Brett Swinnerton Memorial Stakes open race, look out for Towcester raider SCOOBY MUSTANG, who runs from T4.

The Carol Weatherall-trained youngster flew round Monmore recently, clocking 28.34 in a trial over this four-bend 480-metre trip. Next time up, on his competitive debut at Monmore, Scooby Mustang was sent off as the 4/11 favourite but met all sorts of trouble and a line could be put through that run.

Tonight, it's all eyes on the break. If the October 2024 son of Mustang Jet gets it right at the boxes, this could be all over bar the shouting by the time he hits the back straight.

Magical Hawk (T2) and Adelinesfirstdog (T3) both rate as dangers and can battle it out to chase the selection home and fill the forecast spot.

1pt 20:34 Monmore - Wise Tournament (T5) @ SP

The 480 final at 20:34 can go to WISE TOURNAMENT from T5.

The early-paced middle seed is in flying form, winning three of his last four over course and distance with some flashy runs over this trip, including one win recorded at 28.18.

Tonight, if Wise Tournament brings her trapping boots and leads round, she can kick for home off the second bend and prove hard to beat.

In a competitive final, the key is the break. It's imperative that the March 2024 daughter of Grangeview Ten gets it right and clears those drawn on her inside at lid rise.

Aero Boris (T2) has plenty of form over further and could be worth including in forecast bets at a price.

Headford Cian (T3) is another who could go well. The Maxine Locke-trained middle seed bolted up over course and distance last week in 28.17 following a smart 4.33 sectional, a repeat of that would put him bang there this evening.

1pt 20:54 Monmore - Onceina Lifetime (T6) @ SP

The third and final selection from the Wolverhampton venue Monmore this evening is ONCEINA LIFETIME who runs from T6 in the 630 final at 20:54 over the six-bend trip.

The Kim Billingham-Hine-trained wide seed starts and stays. That's a lethal combination over this distance. The 630-metre boxes are positioned close to the bend, the break and run into the first corner will prove vital, if Onceina Lifetime pops out and avoids a bump its race on.

Aero Pepinillo (T3) and Newinn Aero (T4) both rate as huge dangers.

Aero Pepinillo is in fine form with two course and distance wins in as many weeks, while Central Park raider Newinn Aero is lightly-raced and open to improvement and is worth noting in the market.

Zenith Sultan (T1) has claims if he pops out and holds his pitch into the first bend. The Hove raider has some smart four-bend form on his card and would be a danger to all if allowed a soft lead on just his second run over six-bends.
