Lewis Hamilton ended a 945-day wait for a Formula One win as he took an incredible win in Catalunya, one which he described as “one of the most special ones for me ... if not the most special one."

So can he go back-to-back? Below you can find my Austrian Grand Prix 2026 Predictions featuring betting odds and more.

Austrian Grand Prix 2026 Odds

Despite Hamilton’s win, Kimi Antonelli is the favourite to win in Austria at 6/4. Teammate George Russell is 3/1, Hamilton is 10/3 and Charles Leclerc is 11/2.

Max Verstappen is 10/1, Lando Norris is 12/1 and Oscar Piastri is 22/1, which shows just how unfancied the reigning Constructors' champions are this season.

Kimi Antonelli to win @ 6/4

There’s a lot of furore surrounding the seven-time world champion after a fantastic win in Barcelona, and rightly so, but following it up with another win would be a shock.

Despite obvious improvements to that Ferrari and their race pace increasing, Hamilton heavily benefited from a well-timed Virtual Safety Car in Austria, as former teammate Fernando Alonso broke down.

That meant he could dive into the pits and gain a cheap pit stop over the two Mercedes, who then dueled it out until Antonelli’s power unit failed, giving him a painful DNF. The underlying Mercedes power unit issue is a concern, as Russell suffered the same problem in Canada.

That means it has failed in two of the last three races, but I’m going to keep my fingers crossed and hope that lightning doesn’t strike twice for the teenage superstar. He had won five on the bounce before Austria, and I’ll back him to get back to win most races when he is priced above EVENS.

F1 Odds

Under 17.5 finishers @ 21/20

A different type of selection for my F1 tips this week. I’m backing Under 17.5 finishers in Austria after a run of races with issues further down the field. Amazingly we had just 14 finishers out of 22 at the Red Bull Ring, while Sergio Perez finished three laps behind the winner and three other drivers were two laps behind.

That means only the top 10 were within two laps of Hamilton, and there were issues throughout the field with reliability. Austria saw five of 20 drivers fail to finish last season, so I think we could see something similar here.

Under 17.5 finishers appealed at 21/20.
