NBA Betting Tips: LeBron’s Lakers looking to avoid sweep in game four showdown
Monday brings us two pivotal game four match-ups from the NBA play-offs, as the Cleveland Cavaliers attempt to level the series against the Detroit Pistons and the Los Angeles Lakers bid to keep their season alive against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Cleveland Cavaliers -4.5 (vs Detroit Pistons) @ 1/1
As mentioned in the introduction, the Cavs are looking to even the series against the Pistons, with a crucial game four coming from Rocket Arena in Cleveland.
The Cavaliers have some momentum behind them after victory in game three, and in front of a home crowd, I believe they'll tie the series here. In this particular match-up, the home team has won five straight contests, and Cleveland's performances in particular have been night and day when it comes to playing at home and away during the postseason.
On the road, the Cavs are 0-4, but at home, they've gone 5-0 - and I'm backing that undefeated streak to continue on Monday night.

Los Angeles Lakers +10.5 (vs Oklahoma City Thunder) @ 20/21
Do I realistically see the Lakers winning this game? No, probably not. The Thunder look every bit like a championship-winning team, and they've won by 18, 18 and 23 in the first three matches of this play-off series.
That stats would suggest that the Lakers won't cover the spread here but I'm going to back it, as LA are facing the prospect of elimination at home, and perhaps naively, I believe that counts for something.
Expectations are low for the Lakers right now - I think most people are expecting another blow-out loss here, but LA were actually leading at half-time in games two and three, suggesting that they can stay competitive against OKC.
If the score is close by the time the fourth quarter comes around, I think the Lakers will cover a double-digit spread here.
