NFL Prop Bets: 5/1 Treble lined up for Sunday’s action

Week 13 in the NFL is already well and truly up and running courtesy of the Thanksgiving matches, but there are plenty for us to get stuck into on Sunday. Last week we couldn't replicate the splendour of the previous one, but if you were playing I hope you found a few angles to enjoy.
Here's our latest little suggestion then - and remember, all the matches have a stack of 'props' (proposition bets) attached to them to complement the standard outright, game total and spread bets; and they offer a great alternative for those who like to delve a little deeper into the potential outcomes, especially when looking perhaps at personal performances from the game's standout practitioners. Here's our latest NFL Prop bets tickle, for your consideration ...
NFL Prop bets - Week 13
1st Quarter total points
- Panthers vs Rams - under 9.5 @ 10/11
- Colts vs Texans - under 7.5 @ 20/23
- Dolphins vs Saints - under 7.5 @ 5/6
Treble pays 5.54/1 at the advertised prices (which can fluctuate)
Panthers vs Rams - under 9.5 @ 10/11
This is essentially another fun market where trends and form are important, but for me at least it's also a question of 'feel;' and of good old gut instinct. I'm looking to find three matches today where I'm hoping that the early exchanges will be cagey, and that the more productive scoring quarters, if indeed there are to be any, can appear later in the piece.
First up we're off to Charlotte, and two sides with plenty to say in the NFC. The Rams head the West, just, from the Seahawks; while the Panthers are breathing down the necks of the Bucs in the South.
The game total is around the 44.5 mark and this 9.5 quoted represents a sizeable chunk of that to me. I'm taking it on accordingly.
Colts vs Texans - under 7.5 @ 20/23
Lucas Oil Stadium is the venue now for a fascinating AFC South clash with the Colts looking to protect their lead from the Jags, and the visitors hoping to improve their 6-5 record to challenge for what at this stage looks to be a wild card spot.
Time yet though for a lot to happen, but both have plenty of incentive today. Indy narrowly lost to the Chiefs last time out while the Texans are on a three-match win streak.
Houston are firm second favourites to take this at around 6/4 on the money line, but I'll be having a little single interest in that for sure as it looks a tight one to call for me - tighter than the market would suggest. Here's to a low-scoring scrap early doors.
Dolphins vs Saints - under 7.5 @ 5/6
Finally we've got New Orleans at the Hard Rock in Miami.
These are two bang ordinary franchises this term but the Dolphins have at least won their last two on the spin, and are rested up. They are however the very dictionary definition of inconsistent, making them hard to love in a punting sense. Get trashed by the Browns, beat the Bills. Go figure.
The Saints have only scored 165 points all season, but their D is respectable. Flamboyant Miami QB Tua Tagovailoa has thrown 13 interceptions and the Saints are takeaway-hungry, so that might stifle the old scoreboard a touch, too.
If all the above comes to pass the treble pays around 5.54/1 at the prices, and for a fun bet that's a reasonable return. Who do you fancy today?
