Just one day after winning his seventh major televised title at the World Grand Prix, Luke Littler was sent crashing back down to earth at Robin Park in Wigan, as three-time Women's World Champion Beau Greaves defeated him at the World Youth Championships.

The 21-year-old is a darting phenom in her own right and has already secured her tour card for next season. But can she makes waves at Ally Pally this winter? We take a look at her chance to win the World Darts Championship 2026, where she's currently a very attractive price...

World Darts Championship 2026 Odds

  • Luke Littler @ 5/4
  • Luke Humphries @ 5/1
  • Gerwyn Price @ 10/1
  • Josh Rock @ 10/1
  • Michael va Gerwen @ 11/1
  • Gian van Veen @ 18/1
  • Beau Greaves @ 100/1

Greaves set up a World Youth Championship final against defending champion and established PDC star Gian van Veen, which will take place before the Players Championship Finals at Butlins, Minehead next month. Of course, van Veen was defeated by Littler on that same stage just 12 months previous, before 'The Nuke' went on to change the face of professional darts as we know it.

But could this now be the launch pad for another young darting superstar in Beau Greaves, who has recently taken her game to a new level. She is currently number one in the Women's world rankings, a three-time back-to-back-to-back Women's World Champion and is top of the PDC Development Tour, which has seen her secure that vital tour card. Whether she takes up that card remains to be seen but after a staggering win over Littler, surely now is the time to test herself against the big boys?

'Beau 'n' Arrow' has already confirmed she will play at Alexandra Palace this year at the World Darts Championship but just how far can she go? She's already closed in the betting with some other bookmakers going as short as 40/1 on her to pick up the title, in what would be the biggest shock ever seen in the sport. She's currently a very juicy 100/1 at Betfred but I can't see that price lasting much longer.

Of course a three-week sets-based marathon of a tournament is very different indeed to some behind closed doors six-leggers in Wigan but Greaves certainly has the power game to compete and appears to have had a mental breakthrough in competing with the opposite sex. She has already beaten up-and-coming star Josh Rock this season and the win over Littler only cements that new-found belief.

One thing is for sure, it's going to be a fun watch and no one will be wanting to be drawn out against the name of Beau Greaves when the World Championship draw takes place in late November!

Looking elsewhere in the betting odds and it's no surprise to see 'The Nuke' installed as the 5/4 betting favourite after his dominant win at the World Grand Prix, including a 6-1 demolition of rival Luke Humphries in the final. 'Cool Hand' is a nice-looking price at 5/1, who prefers the longer-format at the World's and has a great record here.

Rock is joined by two-time champ Gerwyn Price at 10/1 with three-time world titleist Michael van Gerwen just one point longer.

But it's Greaves that is really drawing attention with that three-figure price right now...if she beats van Veen at Minehead, she could well be half that price entering the World Championships...
