NBA Betting Tips: Lakers looking to extend winning streak

There's more NBA action to enjoy on Monday night and in the early hours of Tuesday morning. We've picked out our best bets for the upcoming matches.
NBA Betting Tips
- Wizards @ Pistons - Wizards (+3.5) @ 10/11
- Pelicans @ Jazz - Pelicans(-4.5) @ 10/11
- Lakers @ 76ers - Lakers (+4.5) @ EVS
Accumulator of 6.28/1
Wizards @ Pistons - Wizards (+3.5) @ 10/11
The Pistons and Wizards are both aiming for relief coming into this one - they've suffered a combined total of 22 consecutive losses.
The good news is that one of these teams has to end their losing streak tonight, and I'm more inclined to believe it'll be the Wizards who'll snap their terrible run here - Washington have defeated the Pistons in each of their past eight meetings.
Detroit are in danger of going winless in this month, in my opinion, with matches against the Knicks and the Lakers on the horizon. Although the Wizards have been really poor in recent weeks, they still possess a true scoring option in Jordan Poole, who has shown what he's capable of in this league.
Pelicans @ Jazz - Pelicans (-4.5) @ 10/11
The Jazz have another chance to taste victory against New Orleans tonight after emerging as 105-100 winners on Sunday.
Pelicans star Zion Williamson is expected to play after after resting on the second night of a back-to-back, which would explain why New Orleans are favourites for this clash.
The Jazz could make adjustments to their lineup and it's unclear whether Lauri Markkanen and Jordan Clarkson will feature here after neither played a part in Sunday's triumph.
However, with Williamson expected to return, I'm taking the Pelicans to cover here.
Lakers @ 76ers - Lakers (+4.5) @ EVS
The Lakers are seeking a fourth victory on their travels when they visit the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night.
LA are coming off a 121-115 road win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, while the 76ers are coming off a 127-123 triumph over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
I expect this game to be won and lost in the battle between Anthony Davis and Joel Embiid, but it's the Lakers bench that is currently making the difference - Austin Reaves had 15 points and 10 assists against the Cavaliers, and Christian Wood (13) and Jaxson Hayes (10) also scored in double figures.
I'm taking the Lakers to cover here and extend their winning streak.
