Snooker tipster Dean Strand has already given us his World Snooker Championship Betting Tips but he will also be giving us a daily tipping piece as well, continuing with Tuesday's round one matches. He has two bets for us including a great looking match between Mark Allen and Jack Lisowski. Here are Dean's World Snooker Championship Tuesday Day 1 Tips.

2 pts - Ding Junhui v Jack Lisowski - Both Players to make 2+ Centuries @ 5/2

Ding v Lisowski is arguably the standout tie of the first round, with 'Jackpot' the highest ranked qualifier, at 17th in the World.

This is a very tough match to call but with two very good attacking players, centuries looks the way to go for me in this one.

These two have made 71 centuries between them this season, with Ding averaging one every 9.56 frames and Lisowski averaging one every 9.27.

Ding has made 11 centuries in his last nine matches, despite the majority of these being best of 9's.

Lisowski made six centuries across his two qualifying matches against Liu Hongyu and Matthew Stevens.

2 pts - Mark Allen -4.5 v Robbie Williams @ 11/10

Mark Allen was my outright pick at the start of this tournament and his first round draw definitely isn’t as tough as it could have been, as he opens his campaign against Robbie Williams.

Williams hasn’t been to the Crucible since 2016 and has lost all three of his previous matches here. The only occasion in which he met one of the top eight seeds was against Neil Robertson in 2014 and he was beaten 10-2 on that occasion.

Allen has improved his all round game over the last couple of seasons and doesn’t take too many chances any more. Last year he made a flying start to his campaign, winning the first five frames against Fan Zhengyi and eventually winning the match 10-5 and he followed that up with another dominant win against Stuart Bingham in the last 16, 13-4.

Allen and Williams have met on four occasions previously and Allen has won three of them in whitewashes, with Williams winning the other.

Their only recent meeting came just two months ago in the Welsh Open and it was a very one sided affair with Allen winning 4-0 and Williams managing just 20 points in total.
