The USA look to have an outside chance of Copa America glory as they will be playing on home turf and that is represented in outright odds of 12/1.

The Stars and Stripes get their campaign underway on Sunday night against Bolivia, who won’t have altitude on their side in Dallas’ AT&T Stadium. Below you can find my USA vs Bolivia prediction.

USA vs Bolivia Betting Tips

  • USA to win to nil @ 4/6
  • Christian Pulisic to score at any time @ 11/10

USA vs Bolivia Match Odds

Team news

Sergino Dest is not available for selection after picking up a knee injury playing for his club side PSV. Christian Pulisic, Folarin Balogun, Weston McKennie and Tyler Adams are likely to start for the Stars and Stripes.

Jairo Quinteros has been ruled out of the tournament while rising starlet Moises Paniagua is also unavailable. Rodrigo Ramallo is likely to lead the Bolivian line.

USA to win to nil @ 4/6

The USA have an advantage as hosts of the Copa America this time around, but the chances of Gregg Berhalter’s men look to extend beyond just playing on home turf.

USMNT have been drawn alongside Uruguay, Panama and Bolivia, and although tougher tests will await as the competition progresses, the USA should take care of Bolivia in comfortable fashion to get the ball rolling.

Berhalter’s men are fresh from victory in the CONCACAF Champions League and it looks one of the strongest squads that the USA have put together for some time, with quality all over the pitch.

Chris Richards, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Antonee Robinson are excellent defensive performers, midfielders Adams and McKennie have bags of talent and there is plenty of goalscoring potential up front with Ricardo Pepi, Pulisic and Timothy Weah.

Bolivia have to be rated as one of the weakest sides in the competition, particularly with La Verde having won only one of their opening six 2026 World Cup qualifying matches.

Antônio Carlos Zago’s men have scored just seven goals in their last 10 games and Bolivia don’t appear to have the quality of attacking potential to break down what should be a dominant USA side.

The goal threat from La Verde is not entirely obvious with Ramallo leading the scoring stats of the squad, having scored just seven goals from his 40 caps for his country, and the hosts can enjoy a comfortable start to the competition.

Christian Pulisic to score at any time @ 11/10

Pulisic has hit 29 goals in 68 appearances in a Stars and Stripes shirt and the Milan man should get plenty of opportunities to add to that impressive tally against a weak Bolivia side.

The 25-year-old scored 12 Serie A goals this season, while the former Chelsea forward has found the net seven times in his last 12 games for the USA and looks a worthwhile option in the anytime scorer market.
