Denmark and Serbia collide at the Allianz Arena in Munich on Tuesday (20:00, ITV4) for their final Group C clash at Euro 2024. Only a point separates them, with the Danes in second on two points while Serbia are bottom of the table.

There is still much to be decided in this group but both teams ideally need a win here to give them the best chance of progression to the knockout stage. Below I have detailed my Denmark vs Serbia bet builder tips, which combined, pay out at 6/1.

Denmark to win

After equalising against England in their 1-1 draw with the Three Lions last Thursday, Denmark looked the far better team and could've easily ended up winning the match.

Following two draws, Kasper Hjulmand's side ideally need to get themselves a win here to keep their destiny in their own hands, especially when England cannot be relied upon to beat Slovenia.

Serbia have not been impressive at this tournament so far, but they at least were able to find the back of the net against Slovenia, despite leaving it late. I think Denmark have more than enough quality to get the job done in Munich, and this will be a good test for them to demonstrate more firepower, having only scored one goal in each of their opening two fixtures.

With players like Rasmus Hojlund, Jonas Wind, Christian Eriksen, Jacob Bruun Larsen, Kasper Dolberg, Mikkel Damsgaard and Yussef Poulsen, Hjulmand has plenty of talent capable of scoring goals at his disposal, and they will need to show it if they are to enjoy another progressive run at the Euros.

I've not been convinced by Serbia, but Denmark have had plenty of positives so far which should bode well for them here. That is why I fancy them to get the victory here.

Euro 2024 Odds

Rasmus Hojlund anytime goalscorer

It hasn't quite happened for him yet, but I can see Manchester United forward Hojlund opening his Euros account on Tuesday. Serbia's back line doesn't fill me with any confidence and I think a player of his calibre can go and exploit that.

In comparison to some of his team mates, the Danish forward has not had much of a sniff in the final third. He has registered just one shot from his first two appearances but it was on target. I think that he will be out with a point to prove on Tuesday, and with Denmark needing to find a way to turn draws into wins, he is arguably key to do that.

I'm expecting Denmark to start on the front foot and set the tempo for the game, and I think Hojlund will be looking to get heavily involved from the get-go. I think that he should be able to see a few chances come his way in Munich, and I'm confident that he can put one away and get up and running for the tournament.

Morten Hjulmand 1+ fouls

When he's not been scoring long-range strikes against England, midfielder Morten Hjulmand has been involved in Denmark's defensive work. He is energetic and combative, but sometimes aggressive.

He is not always able to time his challenge to perfection and we have already seen him penalised this summer. He has committed three fouls so far, the most of anyone in the Denmark camp.

Hjulmand has already been shown a yellow card, too, so if he were to pick up one on Tuesday and Denmark got through to the last 16, he would be suspended. I think that will play into his mind in Munich but given the high stakes in this fixture, I do see him getting penalised for a foul on the turnover. It will then be case of how he conducts himself if he were to get away without a booking.

Both teams to score

As much as I think Denmark will come away with the win here, I do see Serbia getting on the scoresheet. The Eagles have opened their account for the tournament and so they may have taken some much-needed confidence from that last-gasp equaliser against Slovenia.

The physicality of forward Aleksandar Mitrovic, as well as the quality of his partner Dusan Vlahovic will give the Danish defence plenty to think about, and they will carry a threat from set-pieces.

Denmark like to keep a compact shape but sometimes they leave themselves open to be counter-attacked, and this does seem like the most likely scenario for Serbia to score from in this match.

With so much at stake for both teams, the pressure will be high, and in games like this, that can tend to lead to mistakes being made. That is why I think BTTS could be a smart way to go here.
