Czech Republic vs Turkey Bet Builder Tips: BTTS to deliver in 6/1 shot

As Group F draws to a close at Euro 2024, both Czech Republic and Turkey have a chance of progressing to the knockout stage. Turkey are in a stronger position with three points in second, and they currently would take one of the four third-place spots should they lose here. The pair meet in Hamburg on Wednesday (20:00, ITV4) for what should be an interesting contest.

Czech Republic simply have to win here to have any chance of making it to the last 16. Read on for my Czech Republic vs Turkey bet builder tips, which is valued at 6/1 when combined.

Turkey to win

I have been impressed with Turkey so far. They were beaten 3-0 by Portugal but they did give Roberto Martinez's side a game. Their win over Georgia was one of the best games we have seen at the tournament so far, and the attacking football on display was encouraging for me to side with them in this contest.

There is more fluidity to their play than that of Czech Republic, who have only mustered a point so far. The Crescent-Stars have seen three different players score thus far and so there are plenty of players in the squad whom can be entrusted to share the goal burden.

There is going to be more of an onus on Czechia to attack here but Turkey will also be vigilant with certain factors that could affect their own progression and so they will want to keep their destiny in their own hands. I expect them to deliver another strong performance and get the job done.

However, I do see goals going in at both ends. Czech Republic for all their faults thus far, have still managed to score in both matches played, and they both score BTTS land.

Turkey saw BTTS deliver in their victory over Georgia but failed to score against Portugal, but that wasn't for a lack of chances. I'm confident that we will see the Crescent-Stars find the back of the net in Hamburg, but I do think Czech Republic will have moments in the game that could cause some damage.

It may be tricky if striker Patrik Schick is out with an injury, but I do think both teams to score is worth backing here.

Hakan Calhanoglu 1+ shots

Turkey captain Hakan Calhanoglu has been a key figure for his side at the Euros thus far, despite not having scored yet. He headed into the summer off the back of winning Serie A with Inter Milan, in which he contributed 13 goals and three assists from midfield.

It was the best goalscoring season he has ever had and he has taken that momentum with him to Germany. Calhanoglu has so far registered five shots at goal, but just one on target, so that is why I have selected him to just have one shot for this bet builder.

He can strike a ball from range and takes free-kicks, so he would be considered a shrewd selection for this market.

Lukas Provod 1+ fouls

Czech midfielder Lukas Provod has been busy at this tournament so far. He scored their opening goal against Portugal on matchday one, but he has also been very budy on the defensive side.

No Czech Republic player has committed more fouls in the last two matches than his five. He has seen a yellow card so he may take a degree of care against Turkey as to not pick up a suspension in case his team do find a way to qualify.

With that being said, he and his team mates need to do absolutely everything to find a way to win here, and if a Turkey break arises that he can stop with a tactical foul, he will surely take it.
